Features: aluminum containing more than 99.00 %, good conductivity, good corrosion resistance, good welding performance, low strength and can not do heat treatment enhancement.
Application: high-purity aluminum (containing more than 99.9% aluminum) is mainly used for scientific experiments, chemical industry and special purposes.
Characteristics: aluminum alloy with copper as the main composite element. Manganese, magnesium, lead and bismuth will also be added for cutting properties. For example, 2011 alloys should pay attention to safety protection (producing harmful gases) during melting. 2014 alloy is used for aerospace industry which with high strength. The strength of the 2017 alloy is little lower than 2014 alloy, but it is easier to process. Heat treatment enhancement can be done in alloy 2014.
Characteristics: aluminum alloy with manganese as the main alloy element, can not do heat treatment enhancement, good corrosion resistance and welding performance. ( It’s close to super aluminum alloy). Disadvantages: low strength, but strength can be improvement by cold processing and hardening. Coarse grains are easy to appear when annealing.
Scope of application: seamless pipe (3003 alloy) used in aircraft, easy-open can (3004).
Mainly contains with silicon, not commonly used. Some 4-line can be strengthened by heat-treating enhancements, but some 4-line alloys are not heat-treatable.

Application range: lawn mower handle, aircraft fuel tank duct, bulletproof vest.
Characteristics: mainly contains with magnesium and silicon. Mg2Si is the main reinforced phase, and it is currently the most widely used alloy. 6063, 6061 is the most widely used, and 6463 are relatively low in strength in 6 series. 6262, 6005, 6082, 6061 are relatively in high strength in 6 series. The shelf at the middle of Tornado No. 2 is 6061 characteristics: medium strength, good corrosion resistance, good welding performance, good process performance (easy to do extrusion forming), good oxidation and coloring performance.
Application scope: energy, delivery tools (e.g. car luggage racks, doors, windows, body, heat exchange)
Features: mainly contains with zinc, but sometimes a small amount of magnesium and copper should be added. Ultra-hard aluminum alloys has the similar hardness to steel that add zinc, lead, magnesium and copper alloys. The extrusion speed is slower than 6 series alloys, and the welding performance is better. Alloy 7005 and alloy 7075 are the highest grades in 7 series, which are heat-treatable. Scope of application is aviation (aircraft bearing components, landing gear), rockets, propellers, aircraft spacecraft.
